How to Use the EWTII CBT App
A step-by-step guide for a seamless exam experience.
Step 1: Find Your Name & Register
Your journey begins at the signup page. First, you'll need to find your name from the school's official list of unregistered students. Once you've found and selected your name, you'll create your account by providing a unique email address and a secure password. This email will become your username for logging in.
Step 2: Your Personal Dashboard
After logging in, you'll land on your student dashboard. This is your central hub for everything exam-related. You will see 'Active Exams' (exams you can take right now), 'Upcoming Exams', and 'Completed Exams'.
Step 3: Understanding the Exam Window
Exams are available during an 'exam window' set by the school (e.g., from Monday to Friday). You can start an exam for any of your subjects at any time within this window. The choice is yours!
Step 4: Starting an Exam
When an exam is 'Active', a 'Start Now' button will appear. The individual timer for that exam (e.g., 45 minutes) begins only when you click this button, enter full-screen mode, and grant camera access.
Step 5: Security & Monitoring
To ensure a fair testing environment, the exam must be taken in full-screen mode with your webcam active. A small video feed will appear on your screen for monitoring. Exiting full-screen will pause the exam and display a warning.
Step 6: The Exam Experience
Once in the exam, you can navigate between questions using 'Next' and 'Previous' buttons. A timer shows your remaining time, and a progress bar tracks your answered questions. There's even a built-in calculator!
Step 7: Submitting Your Answers
After answering all questions, click the 'Submit Exam' button. If you run out of time, the system will automatically submit your answers for you. Once submitted, you cannot go back and change your answers.
Step 8: View Your Results
Curious about how you did? Head to the 'View Results' section from your dashboard. Here, you'll see your score and how you rank against your classmates on the subject leaderboard.
